There are two ongoing series of mini-workshops: THE JOURNEY & THE PRACTICE.  Both are theme-based and give students more time to explore concepts and practices from their weekly sessions, through small-workshops.  Students may take either or both series as interest and time permit, but advanced registration is suggested!  THE JOURNEY is an invitation to explore intentional living and exploring the layers of our spiritual, emotional and creative selves.  THE PRACTICE explores the more physical aspects of maintaining a regular yoga practice.. body & breath focused and will increase your own foundational practices of yoga asana (poses) and pranayama (breath).

The practice

Creating & developing a home practice ~ sadhana

A Sadhana is your daily practice!  In our modern world and busy culture, this may begin with an intention to establish a regular home practice of yoga and finding time to fit regular time for meditation and breathing into everyday life!!  This series of courses will provide students with the resources to gradually develop a home practice of yoga postures, breathing and meditation and may serve to advance an experienced students current practice with occasional offerings to learn more advanced postures.  PRACTICE is very knowledge based and heavier on the physical nature of the practice yoga with considerations and lessons that are based in anatomy and physiology.

This series may be taken in sequence or periodically by interest and will include the following areas & tentative schedule. 

Fall Sessions:

2 -  FEAR-less Inversions:  

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14TH     7-9 PM

Details:  Explore the edges of your comfort zone with this workshop that will assist you in building the skills and confidence to take your yoga practice upside down!   This workshop will help you understand how to prepare the body and mind for inversions... a total shift in perspective on life and yoga asana (postures).  

FEE:  2 HOUR Mini-Workshop Price:  $17    


THE JOURNEY

THE JOURNEY is an invitation to explore intentional living and exploring the layers of our spiritual, emotional and creative selves.  THE JOURNEY is a sacred circle of like minded students of life who come together and explore their personal JOURNEYs through seasonal events. Participants will experience restorative yoga and guided meditations alongside themed crafting, storytelling and earth wisdom experiences.  These experiences are woven together to expand your ability to self-heal, set intentions and increase creativity.  While THE JOURNEY experiences are unique theme-based sessions explored in circle, each also holds the option to expand to practices in your outside life, private or studio classes.  The JOURNEY is YOURS to explore as often and deeply as you feel called.  The circle of this journey will have no beginning and no end, so you may weave in and out, attending as you are available.
