We are seeing in the media and hearing from our friends, doctors and beyond the benefits of yoga; yet attending a class can be intimidating and we don’t always like our first class and can be discouraged by misconceptions or discomfort! This class is designed to clear up the misunderstandings about what yoga is and isn’t and help students feel comfortable on the mat!
Designed as a 3 class series for beginners, this class will introduce you to the basics of yoga and set a foundation for continuing to practice in your home or anywhere with comfort. Students will be led through a series of postures & breathing practices, learning the basics of why we do these, what the benefits are and how to do them in a way that is healthy and accessible for beginners!
Each class will end with a take home sheet, to extend the lessons from class into their home.
All equipment a student needs to practice will be provided by the studio, with the option to purchase supplies at any time if desired.
The teacher will be available for private questions and advice on practicing 15 minutes before and after class. Students are encouraged to utilize this time as it is included in the price of the session.
Tweens and Teens are welcome to attend with a parent or friend for a reduced price $35 / session.
