The Journey Inward
Following a meditation in 2010 I wrote about visualizing a sacred space; a meditation center & yoga studio... a sanctuary in the woods. Did I own this property then or know how this idea would happen? Hell NO! But - I began taking steps and over the journey of the next 9 years, a lot has happened. This weekend the final piece finally took form, the Labyrinth. The labyrinth project has been key in the full realization of this goal! Project status - 3/4 complete! Reason for sharing? To motivate you to have goals and dream big! Work Hard. Create. Manifest your Reality. Choose action. Oh, and btw - Meditate 😉!
Seriously, when we meditate we arrive in the center - the place of stillness that lives within each of us. The chaos and demands of life can get in the way of seeing our true path. In meditation there is a center where clarity resides. One way into that center, the stilling of the mind is walking the labyrinth. Today I walked in. I sat. I returned. I am excited to share this experience with you soon.
Why a Labyrinth? “Walking a Labyrinth clears the mind and gives insight into the spiritual journey. It urges action. It calms people in the throes of life transitions. It helps them see their lives in the context of a path, a pilgrimage. They realize that they are not human beings on a spiritual path, but spiritual beings on a human path.”
